How it all started
A few years ago, my amazing husband got me a cricut machine. Of course I wanted to be like all the Pinterest moms out there with their perfect kitchens, adorable matching t-shirts, personalized mugs. The one that have it all put together. I live with the real me though and she’s a hot mess. That little vinyl cutter unlocked my creative side that I haven’t had an outlet for in quite awhile. I started to realize that I needed and identity away from wife, step mom, barista, student. Who was Cari Jo after all these life changes and what sets her soul on fire now?
Our story
Every great journey begins with a story. Ours is no different. Established in 2018 after a micro wedding before micro weddings were cool. Joey and I wed in front of 30 of our closest friends and family. From there we embarked on life’s journey as a married couple, with a flick of a pen I became a step mom to two amazing kiddos, we bought a house, worked on said house, dogs, custody battles, and child raising. Throw in some life drama, some good food, travels, laughs, and tears and we’re just like everyone else.
Our approach
Our vision is to create a community of like minded people. Those who want to create with their hands, minds, and maybe share some of life’s struggles. In our journey we’ve learned that as much as we wish we could do it all alone, we need our village near and far.
